- 1914: For the first time, an aircraft is spotted in the sky above Dinxperlo.

| 9 | 1933 | - 1933: Winterswijk gets their own department of the Nationalist Socialist party, the NSB. This party later becomes the major ally of the nazi party.

| 11 | 1936 | - 1936: In a flare of anti-semitical violence, Jewish Winterswijker Mozes Kan is molested in his home.
