      Na het overlijden van zijn vrouw Aaltje Hones hertrouwt Derk op 1 juni 1759 met Aaltje van de Kempe, weduwe van Jan Rospas en dochter van Berent Kempers en Berentje Koijers (kwartiernr. 728 x 729). Zij was 45 jaar toen ze met Derk trouwde. Ze kregen samen dan ook geen kinderen.
