      Heden overleed tot ons aller droefheid zeer schielijk aan de gevolgen der cholera, mijne geliefde echtgenoote Enneken Bolthoff, geb. Ten Pas, in den ouderdom van 43 jaren, van Winterswijk, prov. Gelderland. - Hoe smartelijk dit verlies voor mij, na eene 20jarige echtverbindtenis met haar, en voor mijne drie kinderen valt, kan een ieder die haar gekend heeft, met ons beseffen. Maar des Heeren wil geschiede. Hij geve ons te berusten in Zijn wil en welbehagen.
